            Basketball Recap: Warrior Run Defenders vs. Shikellamy Braves        
        
		
        
        
            Warrior Run was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They took a  blow against the Shikellamy Braves, falling  68-11. While losing is never fun, the Defenders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 610th, while the Braves are ranked 156th).
 Leading Shikellamy to victory were  Lily Fatool and  Nadia Smith.  Fatool  went 7-for-16  to rack up 15 points along with seven  steals and six  assists, while  Smith  almost  dropped  a double-double with 14  points and nine  rebounds. Thanks to that strong game,  Smith now owns an excellent 46.3%  shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was  Carli Berry, who  posted 11  points and four  steals.
Warrior Run's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Shikellamy, the  victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
 Warrior Run didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  54-18  defeat against Danville on the 10th. As for Shikellamy, they have also  already played their next game,  a  66-58  win against Southern Columbia Area on the 10th.
