Preview: Beaumont United Timberwolves vs. North Shore Mustangs

Beaumont United is 7-1 against North Shore since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Beaumont United Timberwolves will head out on the road to square off against the North Shore Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Beaumont United knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 23 games -- so hopefully North Shore likes a good challenge.

Beaumont United scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Humble on the road to the tune of 110-60. Beaumont United has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kayde Dotson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 4 assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Clarence Payia, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, North Shore came up short against Kingwood on Friday and fell 44-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Shore has scored all season.

Beaumont United's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for North Shore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Beaumont United took their win against North Shore when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 75-53. Does Beaumont United have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Shore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
