Basketball Recap: Ocean View Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Ocean View Christian had lost three straight headed into Friday's contest, but Montse Acosta didn't let it get to four. The Ocean View Christian Patriots really took it to the Gompers Prep Academy Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-7 victory thanks in part to Acosta, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ocean View Christian's points.

Similarly, Gompers Prep Academy and Mountain Empire (who has only given up 18.4 points per game) will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
