Soccer Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Cordova was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Antelope Titans, falling 5-0.

Cordova has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Antelope, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Cordova and Antelope could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Cordova (ranked 752nd) will meet West Park (ranked 144th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Antelope will square off against McClatchy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 221 places (428 vs. 207).
