Bloomfield had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt St. Michael on Saturday. The Bobcats' defense stepped up to hand the Horsemen a 4-0 shutout. Give Bloomfield's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Lyla Snell-Martinez and Maliah Goins scored all four of Bloomfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Michael's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
