Preview: Northern Cambria Colts vs. Penns Manor Comets
Northern Cambria is 0-10 against Penns Manor since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Northern Cambria Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Penns Manor Comets at 7:15 p.m. Northern Cambria will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 511th, while Penns Manor is ranked 100th).
Last Wednesday, Northern Cambria was beaten by Marion Center 66-22.
Meanwhile, Penns Manor came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against United by a score of 58-50. 58 seems to be a good number for Penns Manor as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Northern Cambria's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Penns Manor, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Northern Cambria was dealt a bruising 58-19 defeat at the hands of Penns Manor when the teams last played back in February of 2023.
