The Clairemont Chieftains will venture away from home to square off against the Oceanside Pirates at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Clairemont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Clairemont had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the nine-goal drubbing they dealt Castle Park on Thursday. The Chieftains were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Trojans. It was an even better day for Zoe Baskerville as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Oceanside kept a clean sheet against Pacific Ridge on Tuesday. They blew past the Firebirds 3-0.

Clairemont's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Oceanside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
