Soccer Game Preview: Placer vs. Twelve Bridges

The Placer Hillmen will challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Placer's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Back in December of 2024, Placer and Roseville finished up their game with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Miners a 6-0 shutout. Yulisa Reyes was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Twelve Bridges pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. With that draw, Placer's record moves to 1-2-2.

Placer beat Twelve Bridges by a goal in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Placer repeat their success, or does Twelve Bridges have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
