The Eagle Rock Eagles will take on the Franklin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Eagle Rock: 29.8, Franklin: 29) so any points scored will be well earned.
Eagle Rock put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Bravo at home to the tune of 55-16. Given Eagle Rock's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Bravo is ranked 757th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Franklin suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 70-41 loss at the hands of Camarillo.
Eagle Rock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.
Eagle Rock was able to grind out a solid win over Franklin in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 37-26. Does Eagle Rock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
