Recap: Chula Vista Spartans vs. Victory Christian Academy Knights        
        
		
            
 After a string of three wins, the Chula Vista Spartans's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Victory Christian Academy on the road  and fell  61-23. Chula Vista has struggled against Victory Christian Academy recently, as their  game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Chula Vista's loss  came despite strong showings from  Malissa Mckoy and  Karla Lozano.  Mckoy  scored nine points along with 11  rebounds, while  Lozano  scored four points. That was a full 39.1% of Chula Vista's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Chula Vista now  has a losing record at 9-10. As for Victory Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chula Vista on the road again  on Friday and play against San Ysidro at 6:30  p.m.  on January 12th. San Ysidro is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  Pacifica at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Pacifica will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 772nd, while Victory Christian Academy is ranked 196th).
