Recap: Los Angeles CES vs. Fairfax
In what's become a running theme this season, Los Angeles CES gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They didn't even let Fairfax onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Grace Caldwell was a major factor in the win, as she booted in four goals all by himself.
Los Angeles CES was led to victory by the tag-team duo of Caldwell and
Rhianna Lombera, who scored all five of Los Angeles CES's goals. The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
The win was the third in a row for Los Angeles CES, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 5.7 goals per game. As for Fairfax, they dropped their record down to 3-13-1 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Angeles CES will take on University at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairfax, they will be playing at home against Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton has not scored a goal the last three times they've played, a trend they'll try and put an end to.
