Baseball Recap: Morgan Park Triumphs

Morgan Park took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Jones, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 10-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Keenan Harrell looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Morgan Park: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Jacque Lewis was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Morgan Park is 4-1 when Lewis posts two or more runs, but 4-6 otherwise. Gabriel Ramirez also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Morgan Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.
