Recap: Liberty Patriots vs. Stockdale Mustangs        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, the Liberty Patriots gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They really took it to Stockdale for the full four quarters, racking up a  69-35 win on the road. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  31-11.
 Liberty's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kaylee Batten, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. Batten is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last six games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Faith Curry, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and nine  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Stockdale still got an impressive performance from   Ashley Wilson, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 16  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Wilson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Priscila Salazar, who  scored nine points along with seven  rebounds.
 Liberty has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Stockdale, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will  face off against Centennial at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Centennial comes in on seven and Liberty on four. As for Stockdale, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Frontier at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Stockdale will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1029th, while Frontier is ranked 405th).
