Soccer Recap: San Juan Hills Comes Up Short

San Juan Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trabuco Hills Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Stallions have lost by just one goal.

San Juan Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Trabuco Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Juan Hills will face off against Capistrano Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Capistrano Valley's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Trabuco Hills, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against San Clemente at 5:15 p.m. on January 28th.
