Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasanton). They blew past the Southeast Lancers 41-6 on Friday. The Blu-Jays haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Pleasanton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kam Staton, who threw for 204 yards and five touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. What's more, Staton racked up 138.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Mario Davis was in the mix as well, providing Pleasanton with three scores.
Pleasanton's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Southeast, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
