El Capitan extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Lilly Williams. The El Capitan Vaqueros blew past the Steele Canyon Cougars, posting a 55-25 victory thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, she also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

El Capitan is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points per game. As for Steele Canyon, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

El Capitan will be playing at home against Grossmont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Grossmont will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something El Capitan surely won't give up without a fight. Steele Canyon has already played their next contest, a 47-33 victory against El Cajon Valley on the 22nd.
