Football Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

If Kimball was riding high fresh off their 48-0 takedown of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cubs took a blow against the Redwood Valley Cardinals on Friday, falling 35-8.

Kimball has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Redwood Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kimball will challenge rival Eden Valley-Watkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Redwood Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
