Soccer Recap: Mathews Comes Up Short

Mathews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Grand Valley, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Grand Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in August.

Mathews' loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Grand Valley, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Mathews will challenge Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pymatuning Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
