Basketball Game Preview: Exeter Monarchs vs. Kingsburg Vikings

The Exeter Monarchs are taking a road trip to square off against the Kingsburg Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Exeter is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Exeter took a blow against Central Valley Christian, falling 55-24.

Kylie Dias was Exeter's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Meanwhile, Kingsburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 42-38 to Selma. The Vikings have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Exeter now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Kingsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Exeter didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kingsburg in their previous meeting on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 41-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Exeter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
