Soccer Game Preview: Arlington vs. Valley View

The Arlington Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Valley View Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, neither Arlington nor Poly could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Valley View hasn't lost a match since December 29, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Heritage as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Valley View haven't had any issues with Heritage recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Valley View's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-4. Arlington's draw gives them a new season record of 9-5-3.

Arlington couldn't quite get it done against Valley View in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
