Richmond Hill waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Effingham County Rebels a 4-0 shutout. Four seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Richmond Hill's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Effingham County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Richmond Hill will challenge Valdosta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond Hill is facing Valdosta at the right time seeing as Valdosta is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Effingham County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Evans at 4:00 p.m. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.06 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
