Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Line Mountain). They came out on top against the Greenwood Wildcats by a score of 56-48 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Wildcats are ranked 176th).

Bekah Brinser and Danica Zurenko certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Brinser almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards, while Zurenko posted 15 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brinser a new career-high in points. Sylvia Gantt was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win was the third in a row for Line Mountain, bringing their record for this year to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Greenwood, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Line Mountain has already played their next game (against East Juniata), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 42-31 victory against Upper Dauphin Area on the 17th.
