Baseball Recap: Old Saybrook Takes a Loss

Old Saybrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Windsor Locks Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Old Saybrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Windsor Locks, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Old Saybrook will square off against O'Brien RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Windsor Locks, they will head out to challenge Canton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
