Soccer Recap: Mainland Comes Up Short

Mainland lost against Pine Ridge back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Pine Ridge Panthers who were credited with the win. The Pine Ridge Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Mainland Buccaneers' two. The Buccaneers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mainland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Pine Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-1.

Mainland will host Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Ridge, they will face off against Wekiva at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Pine Ridge is facing Wekiva at the right time seeing as Wekiva is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
