Soccer Recap: Banks County Comes Up Short

Banks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, falling 6-2. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Leopards it sure didn't stay that way.

Tristan Guinn and Elijah Ariail scored both of Banks County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Banks County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Banks County will challenge Commerce at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Banks County has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, they will take on Elbert County at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th.
