Baseball Game Preview: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Shiloh Generals

The Dunwoody Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Shiloh Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dunwoody is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Dunwoody had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Redan on Saturday. Dunwoody was the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Redan. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Alec Koehly, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (four). Zach Paulling also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Shiloh suffered their closest defeat since April 3, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Midtown by a score of 4-2. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shiloh saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Anderson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another was Nathan Miller, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Dunwoody's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Shiloh, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
