Glenvar's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Martinsville 42-0. Fans of the Highlanders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Carroll County strolled past Patrick County with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 24-8. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Carroll County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Glenvar, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
