Hamilton hadn't beaten Talawanda on the road since March 27, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Big Blue came out on top against the Brave by a score of 9-4. For the Big Blue, this counts as revenge for the 6-4 win the Brave walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Talawanda, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will welcome Middletown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Middies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.86 runs per game on average), something the Big Blue will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Talawanda, they are taking a road trip to take on Loveland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
