Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orthopaedic Vipers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Orthopaedic, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Fairfax on the 20th. As for Orthopaedic, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Maywood Academy on the 20th.
