Nordhoff is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home two weeks ago. Their defense stepped up to hand Bishop Diego a 4-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for Nordhoff in their matchups with Bishop Diego: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Santa Paula sidestepped Hueneme for a 2-1 win.
