Basketball Recap: Governor Mifflin Comes Up Short

Governor Mifflin lost against Central Dauphin back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Governor Mifflin Mustangs were beaten by the Central Dauphin Rams 74-43. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olivia Green continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Dauphin, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Green is becoming a predictor of Central Dauphin's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 12-3 (and 3-5 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Matincheck, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Governor Mifflin's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Central Dauphin, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Governor Mifflin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Dauphin, they will square off against Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
