After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Carroll brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Logan-Magnolia Panthers on Friday. While Carroll didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Carroll moved to 6-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Logan-Magnolia, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Woodbine on the 11th. As for Logan-Magnolia, they have also already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Missouri Valley on the 14th.
