Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Putnam County

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Putnam County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Vidalia Indians 4-3. Putnam County wouldn't have won without Angel Sanchez, who scored the game-winner.

The win was the third in a row for Putnam County, bringing their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Vidalia, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-11.

As of now, neither Putnam County nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
