Basketball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Takes a Loss

Bishop McDevitt lost to Big Spring back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crusaders lost to the Bulldogs on the road by a 51-33 margin.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop McDevitt lost, don't look at Meredith Backhaus. Despite the final result, she posted nine points.

Bishop McDevitt has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Big Spring, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
