Basketball Recap: Great Commission Comes Up Short

Great Commission was the 36-26 winner over Clearfield Alliance Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Great Commission Bears took a 21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clearfield Alliance Christian.

Despite the loss, Great Commission saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Bordack posted four points in addition to ten rebounds, seven blocks, and five steals. Those ten boards set a new season-high mark for Bordack. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Hall, who had seven points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.

Great Commission's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Clearfield Alliance Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Great Commission has already played their next match, a 45-40 loss against Blair County Christian on the 14th. Clearfield Alliance Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
