Soccer Game Preview: Jackson County vs. Oconee County

The Jackson County Panthers will take on the Oconee County Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jackson County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Winder-Barrow, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Jackson County never let Winder-Barrow get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oconee County entered their tilt with North Oconee on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Titans. Alfonso Ruiz had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Warriors.

Jackson County pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Oconee County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
