Softball Recap: Hennessey Takes a Loss

Hennessey came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Chisholm Longhorns. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost nine in a row.

Hennessey's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Chisholm, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-11.

Hennessey has already played their next contest, a 21-1 defeat against Perry on the 8th. As for Chisholm, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Heritage Hall on the 8th.
