Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centura). They blew past the Boone Central Cardinals 21-7 on Saturday. With that victory, the Centurions brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.

Centura's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4. As for Boone Central, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Centura will venture away from home to face off against Polk County at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Slammers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something the Centurions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Boone Central, they will challenge Pierce at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluejays have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
