Football Recap: Potomac School's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Potomac School entered their tilt with Bishop O'Connell on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Knights 28-14. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Potomac School got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean Sutherland out in front who threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Another big playmaker for the Panthers was Akim Iscandari, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Bishop O'Connell still got an impressive performance from Nick Morris, who rushed for 176 yards and one TD while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Potomac School's record now sits at 4-1. As for Bishop O'Connell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potomac School will face off against Bullis at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop O'Connell, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bishop Ireton at 12:30 p.m.
