Football Recap: Percy Julian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Percy Julian suffered their biggest defeat since September 14, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Carver Montgomery Wolverines 39-6. Phoenix fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wolverines since Saturday.

Zion Crumpton was nothing short of spectacular for Carver Montgomery: he threw for 133 yards and five TDs while completing 94.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards.

Percy Julian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carver Montgomery, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Percy Julian and Carver Montgomery will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Phoenix will square off against rival Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carver Montgomery is set to face off against their familiar foe JAG at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
