Soccer Game Preview: Legacy vs. South Gate

The Legacy Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the South Gate Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Legacy's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Legacy narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Garfield 2-1. That's two games straight that Legacy have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Bell kept up with South Gate until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Rams blew past the Eagles 4-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Gate.

Legacy's record is now 13-1-1. As for South Gate, their record now sits at 12-7-4.

Everything went Legacy's way against South Gate in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Legacy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
