After losing to Normal Community the last time they met, Riverside-Brookfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ironmen on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Lucy Boyle paced Riverside-Brookfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Boyle got some help from Demetra Foster and her ten assists. Claire Cameron controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Riverside-Brookfield has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Riverside-Brookfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Benet Academy on the 29th. As for Normal Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Plainfield East on the 29th.
