Basketball Recap: Villa Joseph Marie Comes Up Short

Villa Joseph Marie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 53-44 to the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jems this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-49 back in December of 2024.

Villa Joseph Marie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

Villa Joseph Marie will host Gwynedd Mercy Academy at 5:15 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will challenge Plymouth Whitemarsh at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
