Softball Recap: Anamosa Comes Up Short

Anamosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Hempstead Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered since June 7th.

Anamosa's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Hempstead, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hempstead beat Anamosa by a score of 9-5 later that day.
