Basketball Game Preview: Oak Grove Eagles vs. Gilroy Mustangs

The Oak Grove Eagles will square off against the Gilroy Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Oak Grove and eight for Gilroy.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-17, which was the final score in Oak Grove's tilt against Willow Glen on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Gilroy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Live Oak, falling 45-17. The Mustangs were down 37-10 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Gilroy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Oak Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Oak Grove strolled past Gilroy in their previous meeting back in December of 2018 by a score of 51-36. Does Oak Grove have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gilroy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
