Basketball Recap: Grace Davis Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Grace Davis hadn't done well against Lathrop recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Grace Davis Spartans managed a 62-57 victory over the Lathrop Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-37 back in January.

Shakara Porter and Jaleiyah Ray certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Porter posted ten points along with seven boards and five assists, while Ray had 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Ray a new career-high in points. Osen Ugbiyobo was another key player, putting up eight points.
