Halifax takes loss despite strong efforts from Abigail Groy and Ava Savage

Recap: Halifax Wildcats vs. Juniata Indians
The Halifax Wildcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Juniata on the road and fell 67-24. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Halifax in their matchups with Juniata: they've now lost four in a row.
Halifax's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Savage and Abigail Groy. Savage scored eight points along with six rebounds, while Groy scored nine points.
Halifax's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Juniata, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Halifax will take on Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Valley is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Juniata, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meadowbrook Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meadowbrook Christian will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
