Softball Recap: Oologah Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

Oologah won against Miami on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Wardogs by a score of 6-3. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-0 victory on Thursday.

Oologah pushed their record up to 27-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Miami, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 19-7 record.

Looking ahead, Oologah will take on Elk City on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 1.7, the Elks 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
