Basketball Recap: Central Bucks West Comes Up Short

Central Bucks West lost against Central Bucks East back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Central Bucks West Bucks were dealt a 56-29 defeat at the hands of the Central Bucks East Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Patriots are ranked 18th).

Central Bucks West dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central Bucks East, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Central Bucks West will challenge Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Bucks East, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Downingtown East at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Downingtown East will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central Bucks East surely won't give up without a fight.
