Joliet Catholic came out on top against Niles Notre Dame on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Hilltoppers blew past the Dons 11-1. The Hilltoppers haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Joliet Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Niles Notre Dame, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Joliet Catholic will face off against rival Nazareth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
